Fans of great motorcycle-racing action won’t want to miss the Geico Powersports AMA Endurocross, scheduled for July 25 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Winds of up to 30 miles per hour couldn’t stop Chris Baldwin at Stage 2 of the Mount Hood Cycling Classic. The Team OUCH Presented by Maxxis rider won the time trial in 42:44 minutes, three seconds ahead of the next racer.

Chris Borich waged a fierce battle for his victory at Round 8 of the GNCC ATV, the John Penton. With his fifth win of the season, Borich holds a 22-point lead in the race for the championship.

The 2009 Bump’n’Grind podium belonged entirely to the Luna Pro Team, as Catharine Pendrel took the victory with Georgia Gould and Katerina Nash in second and third place.

With a win in the final stage, Roman Kilun took a spot on the podium at the Ventura County Stage Race. The OUCH Presented by Maxxis rider was second overall in the three-stage contest, held May 16-17 in Ventura, California.

Maxxis would like to join in the remembrance of Steve Larsen, who passed away at the age of 39 on May 19, 2009.  Steve was a loving family man, loyal friend, and world-class athlete who inspired everyone he met.

Maxxis drivers barreled past the competition at Formula Drift’s second round, with a victory for Chris Forsberg and third and fourth place finishes for Ryan Tuerck and Joon Maeng.

In a closely fought contest, Chris Borich battled his way to a fourth GNCC win, maintaining his lead in the race for the title.

The event might be downhill, but Sabrina Jonnier has raced to the top of the UCI rankings with two consecutive World Cup victories. Jonnier took her most recent win at the third race in the downhill series, held May 17 in Vallnord, Andorra.

Rory Sutherland of Team OUCH Presented by Maxxis has won his third consecutive Joe Martin race.

With wins in the third and fourth rounds, Robert Naughton reigns undefeated over the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Naughton won the Unlimited Lite class in both races, held May 2-3 in Surprise, Arizona.

You can’t keep a champion down: Robert Naughton didn’t let a little thing like a broken foot keep him from winning the opening rounds of the new Lucas Oil Off-Road series. Naughton won Rounds 1 and 2 of LOORS, despite undergoing surgery on his injured foot just four weeks earlier.

Make a contest tougher and some drivers might be thrown for a loop – but not Ryan Tuerck. When Formula Drift’s new format put 32 cars in tandem competition, Tuerck was in his element, taking his first pro win and the series’ lead.

Bobby Prochnau rode the brand of champions to victory in the Desert 100, held April 4-5 in Odessa, Washington.

When the first pitch is thrown at the new Yankee Stadium, the brand of champions will be a strong presence. Maxxis’ signage will be featured behind home plate during the first half-inning, when pitcher Chien-Ming Wang, with an MLB record of 54 wins and only 20 losses, will start the game.
