Borich Wins WORCS Round 6
8/19/2009Chris Borich is on a roll: the current GNCC points leader also won the latest round of the WORCS series. Round 6, Straddleline ORV Park, was held August 11 in Olympia, Washington.
Riding Razrs, Borich took the lead by the second lap and held it for the rest of the race. He finished in 2:04:06 hours, two and a half minutes ahead of the second place rider. “It was pretty fun. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the series, and I wanted to come out here and see what WORCS was all about,” he told ATVriders.com. “The track was really similar to the tracks in North Carolina, so it was an advantage for me. I came out to have a good time, and now I think I might try to hit up one of the desert rounds as well.”
Borich’s fellow Maxxis rider Beau Baron, who currently leads the chase for the WORCS title, took the third place spot on the podium.
