Bronze Medal in BMX for Oquendo in London
8/13/2012Riding Maxxis’ prototype race tire the Torch, Carlos Oquendo took the bronze medal in men’s BMX racing in London. The final race was held August 10.
Oquendo ranked fourth overall in the quarterfinals and semifinals, and was third in his final run. He finished .675 seconds behind the first-place rider in the finals. Oquendo’s bronze medal was one of eight awarded to athletes from Colombia.
