Bryceland, Minnaar in Top 6 at World Cup Downhill #3
6/13/2012Overcoming a slippery course and low visibility due to thick mist, Josh Bryceland took fifth place at the third round of the downhill World Cup. The contest was held June 10 in Fort William, Scotland.
Bryceland qualified well, taking seventh place, while fellow Santa Cruz Syndicate rider Greg Minnaar was sixth. In the main run, Bryceland was just five seconds behind the winning rider, while Minnaar took sixth place. “Fort William weekend was a lot of fun,” said Bryceland. “Over the last two races, there has been a bit of bad luck for me and my team and friends, but it was nice to end it off with a podium result!” Minnaar is second in overall downhill World Cup standings, and Bryceland’s results pushed him up to ninth place.
Maxxis congratulates both of these riders on their fine performances.
