Haines Wins W.E.ROCK Kick-Off
4/17/2008Jesse Haines rode his 40” Creepy Crawlers to victory in the opening round of the W.E.ROCK Western US Nationals. The contest was held April 12-13 in Perris, California.
Haines said that Maxxis products were a major factor in his performance. “It was a pretty tough weekend on our vehicle, but the durability of the Maxxis tires has been incredible,” he said. “We’ve been competing and practicing on the same set of Maxxis tires for over a year now, and they’re working better than ever.”
Brad Williams of Maxxis’ automotive department had expected good results from Haines this season: “When Jesse Haines decided to move and compete in W.E.ROCK’S western series we knew he would help us get much needed wins. We aren’t surprised. With the help of spotter and East Coast driver Matt Deas, it only took one event for him to reach the top of the podium.
