Kabush 1st at Fort Collins USGP #5
11/16/2010Repeated attacks took Team Maxxis – Rocky Mountain’s Geoff Kabush to victory at the US Gran Prix of Cyclocross #5. The race was held November 13 in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Kabush was part of the lead group by the end of the first lap, and later gained the lead for good with two laps left to go. “I was happy to see us finally racing in some muddy, sloppy conditions,” he said. Kabush took third place the following day at USGP #6.
Like Kabush, the Luna Pro Team’s Katerina Nash trusted Maxxis Mud Wrestlers for the messy terrain of Fort Collins, and like Kabush, she wound up on top of the podium on Saturday. Nash took second place the next day.
