Maxxis Invests in Future with Scholarships
1/24/2005Supporting worthy causes is always a top priority at Maxxis – and no cause is more important than education. That’s why Maxxis is again awarding scholarships to the top two students at each high school in the public school system of Gwinnett County, Georgia, home to Maxxis’ U.S. headquarters.
Valedictorians and salutatorians from each of the county school system’s 16 high schools will receive scholarships totaling $16,000. Winners will be announced at the close of the 2004-2005 academic year.
Company officials believe that encouraging education is an investment in our future, an investment which will reap rewards for decades to come: “When young people are able to realize their full potential, we all benefit. Maxxis is proud to recognize the achievements of these students and offer assistance as they strive to reach their goals,” said Kellie Carter, Human Resources Manager at Maxxis.
