TIBCO’s Hall 2nd at Giro della Toscana, TIBCO Wins Team Standings
9/04/2012Lauren Hall took second place in the overall general classification at the Giro della Toscana, held August 29 – September 2 in Florence, Italy. The Team TIBCO rider joined two of her teammates in the overall top ten at the race, pushing TIBCO to first place in team standings.
TIBCO’s Megan Guarnier took fifth place overall, and Amanda Miller earned ninth place. The team’s director and founder said that the team’s performance this season is a source of both pride and optimism for the coming year. “We started our European program several years ago to give our riders valuable experience racing at the top level of the sport,” said Linda Jackson. “Now, we come to win. This was a superb ending to a fantastic season for the team. I am just thrilled to see how far the team has come, and I am really excited about what is ahead for 2013."
