Three Wins for Deegan at LOORRS Rounds 7-8

6/26/2012

Metal Mulisha General Brian Deegan took victories in three categories plus an additional podium at LOORRS Rounds 7-8, held June 23-24 in Tooele, Utah.

Deegan won the Pro Light class in both rounds and won Pro 2 at Round 7. He also took second place in Pro 2 at Round 8. “I was happy to get back on the top of the podium where we belong,” said Deegan. “My crew and team worked really hard. The track conditions were rough this weekend, but my Maxxis tires came through for me!”

Maxxis driver Eric Barron took a win and a podium during the weekend as well. He began by earning the third spot on the Pro 4 podium at Round 7. The next day, he gained what he called “a comfortable lead” and won by a margin of four seconds. Barron said that his first time driving on the Miller Motorsports Park track called for some adjustments to his truck and some additional grooving on his Razr SCR tires, and he thanked Maxxis’ Creighton King for his support during the race.

Longtime Maxxis driver Marty Hart also landed on the podium, taking second place in Pro 2 at Round 7. His strong finish allowed Hart to maintain his points lead for the class.

Maxxis congratulates Brian Deegan and Eric Barron on their victories and thanks Marty Hart for his fine performance.
