Maxxis Supports Dream House with Family Fun Ride

5/10/2007

At the fourth annual Dream House Family Fun Ride presented by Maxxis, a good time for riders helped a great cause. Held May 6 at Aonia Pass Off-Road Park in Washington, Georgia, the event raised more than $38,500.

The previous day’s rain ensured the course was just right for motorcycle and ATV riders, who covered more than ten miles of marked trails. Maxxis’ sponsored rider Allen Gravitt was also on hand to sign autographs for fans.

Located in Gwinnett County, home of Maxxis’ North American headquarters, the Dream House works to improve the lives of medically fragile children. The organization provides educational programs and teaching environments for families and caregivers, assists in the development of specially equipped and accessible homes, increases community awareness about the lives and needs of medically fragile children, and creates opportunities for community and corporate partnerships. The group’s work has been recognized by national media including People magazine and ABC News.
