Michelle Kwan Endorses Maxxis for 2007
3/26/2007Legendary figure skater Michelle Kwan will continue her relationship with Maxxis for the third straight year. Kwan recently signed a 2007 endorsement deal with Maxxis.
The most decorated figure skater in US history, Kwan has won an unprecedented 43 championships, including five World Championships, eight consecutive and nine overall U.S. Championships, and two Olympic medals. She holds or shares nearly a dozen US records and has received 57 perfect 6.0 marks in Olympic-style competitions, the most of any skater in history. In late 2006, Kwan was appointed the first-ever American Public Diplomacy Envoy by the US Secretary of State. This position will call for Kwan to travel abroad, meeting with young people to speak about leadership and discuss social and educational issues.
