Bowers Takes 4th Straight Arenacross Championship

Tyler Bowers took his fourth championship in a row with a victory at the AMSOIL Arenacross season finale, held March 29-30 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Bowers earned his 11th overall victory of the season Saturday night, securing a decisive win in the Race to the Championship, the last four rounds of the season which determine the title’s winner. “It’s been a crazy year, getting injured at [the] first round and having to fight through adversity pretty much all season. I’m just happy to be up here today. [Babbitt's Monster Energy/AMSOIL Kawasaki presented by Maxxis’ teammate] Zach Ames made it tough on me this year and forced me to be at my best every week. These [championships] are never easy, but we refused to give up, kept at it every week, and here we are with a fourth straight title,” Bowers told arenacross.com.

Ames took third place for the year, after a season of fine performances. He held the overall lead at several points during 12 thrilling weekends of Arenacross racing.

Maxxis congratulates Tyler Bowers on his fourth consecutive championship and thanks Zach Ames and teammate Colt Nichols for their many fine performances throughout AMSOIL Arenacross 2014.
