Kabush Take 5th Canadian National Cyclocross Title

Legendary Maxxis rider Geoff Kabush has taken his fifth Canadian National Cyclocross Championship in a race held November 30 in British Columbia.

Kabush triumphed over sodden terrain as he rode Maxxis tires to victory in 1 hour and 14 seconds. He was pleased with his performance as well as those of his teammates: “Canadian Cyclocross Nationals was a really great event with a wet, technically challenging course that raised the bar for everyone. I love racing cyclocross in muddy conditions and [give] thanks to our team staff that worked extra hard to keep everything running smoothly. I’m really proud to take the win again and represent the maple leaf jersey for another year. This year was really special to see my SCOTT-3Rox Racing teammates step up their performances as well, with Cameron Jette taking bronze in the Elite race, Derek Zandstra placing fourth, and our young man Marc-Antoine Nadon taking silver in the U23 race.”

Maxxis congratulates Geoff Kabush on his latest championship and looks forward to cheering him on to victory again in 2014.
