Team Norco’s Jill Kintner won a double victory at the USA Cycling Gravity National Championships, taking first place in both Elite women’s races. The events were held June 21 -22 in Angel Fire, New Mexico.
Kintner turned in outstanding performances in both disciplines. The top-seeded woman in the dual slalom event, she won both heats in the final race. “I love riding slalom and it’s nice to be home in America,” she told cyclingnews.com. The following day, she “blazed down the trail,” according to cyclingnews.com, and won in 4:30.10. The two victories gave Kintner the 12th and 13th national titles of her career.
