Messere Wins Crankworx Les 2 Alpes

Sponsored rider Anthony Messere rode Maxxis to a decisive win at Crankworx Les 2 Alpes Slopestyle, held July 5 at the Les Deux Alpes ski resort in France.

The victory was the first Crankworx win for Messere, who outpaced his competitors with a stellar second run that included a front-flip-tuck-no-hander. Messere now leads FMB Diamond Series standings, and is fourth in FMB world rankings.  “Just to be on top of a FMB Diamond Series event is an amazing feeling and one I did not expect,” said Messere. “My goal was to nail a solid run that I felt happy with, and the fact that it also put me on top of the podium is awesome.”

Maxxis’ sponsored rider Thomas Genon also claimed a spot on the podium at Les 2 Alpes. Like Messere, Genon earned his results with his second run, coming from fifth after the first run to second place for the day.

Maxxis congratulates Anthony Messere and wishes him the best in the Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx Whistler in August.
