The Luna Pro Team’s Catharine Pendrel took her second UCI Mountain Bike Cross Country World Championship with a dominating victory September 6 in Hafjell, Norway.

Pendrel gained the lead by the mid-point of the opening lap, and she held it all the way to the finish line, finishing 21 seconds ahead of the next rider. "It feels great to win my second world championship title,” she said. “I want to thank Luna and all of our sponsors for their amazing support of the team and for making this great moment possible!” Pendrel previously won the UCI XC World Championship in 2011.

Maxxis congratulates Catharine Pendrel on her championship and thanks her for choosing the brand of champions.
