• My mower came with turf-saver tires. I have a hilly yard and the tires do not offer enough traction. Does Maxxis have anything that will give me more grip without destroying my lawn?
  The Maxxis M9227 Turf Tech II is designed to offer much better traction than a standard turf-saver tire while remaining turf friendly.
• Does Maxxis offer solid tires for lawn mowers?
  Maxxis only offers Pneumatic (air filled) lawn and garden tires. We do not produce solid tires.
• What mowers come with Maxxis Tires as original equipment?
  Maxxis Tires are OE on several Dixon and Bad Boy mowers.
• Can I use larger tires on my riding mower than the OEM size?
  No. Using anything larger than OEM tires may adversely affect the transmission and mowing height of your mower.
• Does Maxxis produce tire and wheel assemblies?
  Maxxis Wheel, located in Newnan, GA, specializes in providing tire and wheel assemblies to original equipment manufacturers.
• Do I need a tube for my Maxxis turf tire?
  All Maxxis turf tires are designated either "TL" or "TT." This designation is usually next to the ply rating. "TL" stands for tubeless tire, and "TT" stands for tube type. A tubeless tire can be mounted with or without a tube, but a tube type tire must have a tube in order to hold air.
