Bicycle Event/Series Sponsorship

The following guidelines are basic requirements Maxxis requests when taking any sponsorship proposal into consideration.

• Before Submitting a proposal:

  Please be sure to submit your material at least 90 days prior to the commencement of the event/series. Any requests received beyond the deadline will not be reviewed.
  

• What Maxxis needs to know about your event/series

• Number of years event/series has been held
• Official website promoting event/series and how Maxxis will receive exposure on website
• Approximate number of participants/competitors
• Description of the event
• Approximate number of spectators
• Event marketing plan
• List of other participating sponsors

  • Total Banner/Tuff Bloc placements
  • Media Exposure
  • Logo inclusion in print/web advertising
  • Multi-discipline promotional opportunities
• Publicity samples from previous year, if applicable

  • Photos of merchandise and signage

• Helpful tips to make your proposal stand out:

  • Share with Maxxis how you think it could benefit from sponsoring your event.
  • Provide varying levels of sponsorship opportunities and provide costs/benefits of each level.
  • Provide examples of marketing/promotional plans for the project/event, including timeline.

• Considerations:

  • Maxxis carefully considers sponsorship proposals to ensure they meet its business, community and marketing goals and are within its sponsorship budget.
  • Each proposal is evaluated against detailed criteria such as the synergy between Maxxis and the event/series, the target audiences reached and the benefits of the sponsorship to Maxxis. Proposals are also considered in view of Maxxis' current and ongoing commitments
  • Maxxis will give your sponsorship proposal due consideration and if necessary contact you to discuss it and/or reply formally in writing.
  • If your sponsorship proposal is successful you will be required to enter into a formal sponsorship agreement with Maxxis.
