<\/span>Walker Fowler<\/a>\u00a0has ridden his Maxxis tires to the\u00a0GNCC Racing<\/a>\u00a0presented by Maxxis championship. Fowler sealed his hold on the title at the season\u2019s last race, Ironman, held October 31 in Morgantown, West Virginia.<\/p>\n

Fowler\u2019s fourth place finish at Ironman put him over the top in XC1 Pro points. He concluded the season with a total of 324, after taking seven wins and three additional trips to the podium in 2015. he N-Fab\/AmPro Yamaha\/Maxxis\/Lonestar rider, who finished second overall for the previous three seasons, was both amazed and grateful in comments to gnccracing: \u201cBy losing the championship last year, I learned a lot. I had to pick up the pieces and reset. I cannot thank my family enough; they are really the most important thing in helping me get up here. It is an honor to be the champion of this series. his is surreal.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another Maxxis rider had a big day as well.\u00a0Cole Richardson<\/a>, who clinched the XC2 Pro Am title earlier in the season, competed in XC1 Pro at Ironman and made the podium in second place for the day. Bithell Racing\/Maxxis\/Precision\u2019s\u00a0Chris Bithell<\/a>\u00a0joined Richardson on the XC1 podium in third place, and earned sixth place for the year. Six-time defending XC1 Pro champion\u00a0Chris Borich<\/a>\u00a0took fourth place overall in the class, while Maxxis\/B. Neal Motorsports\u2019s\u00a0Brycen Neal<\/a>\u00a0was fifth for the year and sixth in the day\u2019s race. Cody Collier took third place overall in XC2, while Fowler\u2019s teammate Blake ornes cracked the overall top ten by taking ninth place for the class. Young Korie Steede was fourth for the year in the Super Mini (12-13) class, after taking two victories and two additional trips to the podium.\u00a0<\/p>\n
