Three Maxxis riders took victories at the USA BMX Great Salt Lake Nationals, held May 30 – June 1 in South Jordan, Utah. 

Barry Nobles topped the podium at the Pro Open on Friday night. The following day, Javier Colombo gained the lead at the first turn and never lost it, easily winning the Vet Pro race.  Olympic medalist Maris Strombergs, who is currently second in AA Pro standings, grabbed the holeshot in Saturday’s Elite Men’s race and went on to take a decisive victory. Colombo took his second victory of the weekend when he pulled a high-low maneuver late in Sunday’s race to win that day’s Vet Pro event.
