According to cyclingnews.com, a finish of 22<sup>nd<\/sup> or better in one of the final two rounds will clinch his 2017 title.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Unlike <a href=\"\/tires\/bicycle\/mountain\">cross country<\/a> racers, <a href=\"\/tires\/bicycle\/downhill\">downhill<\/a> riders faced a dry, dusty course in Lenzerheide. Minnaar took his final, winning run in 2:57.042, with <a href=\"http:\/\/factoryracing.canyon.com\/downhill-team\/\">Canyon Factory  eam\u2019s<\/a>  roy Brosnan in second place, <a href=\"http:\/\/new.ms-racing.at\/home\/team\/\">MS Mondraker\u2019s<\/a> Danny Hart third and teammate Laurie Greenland fourth.  he victory was Minnaar\u2019s second World Cup win of the season; he is the only rider so far this year to have won two rounds.  he win was also the 75<sup>th<\/sup> podium for the legendary rider, who now leads World Cup <a href=\"\/tires\/bicycle\/downhill\">downhill<\/a> rankings. \u201c he funny thing is after 75 podiums, I am still having a fun time, and I honestly feel like I am 18 or 19,\u201d he told intocycling.co.za.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesja took second place in the women\u2019s <a href=\"\/tires\/bicycle\/mountain\">cross country<\/a> race. Starting strong, Dahle Flesja and another rider opened a substantial lead in the first lap. She took the lead solo halfway through the initial lap and held it until the final lap. &#8220;I&#8217;m really happy with my result, and I&#8217;m also happy for Annie [Last] winning her first World Cup ever.  here were a lot of strong women out there, and you need a good day to be top three,&#8221; she told cyclingnews.com.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In women\u2019s <a href=\"\/tires\/bicycle\/downhill\">downhill<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pivotcycles.com\/team\/pivotfactoryracing\/\">Pivot\u2019s<\/a> Emilie Siegenthaler claimed a podium spot for Maxxis when she finished third.
