Fowler Wins Again at GNCC Round 8

While defending champ Chris Borich retains the points lead, Walker Fowler took his second straight win at Round 8 of the GNCC, held June 7 in Millfield, Ohio.

Fowler grabbed the lead in the first lap. After briefly trading the front spot with another rider, the AmPro Yamaha rider gained it for good on the second lap. Although the other rider was gunning for the lead for the remainder of the race, Fowler was able to increase his winning margin to two minutes by the time he crossed the finish line. Brycen Neal also did well, taking fourth place in XC1 Pro as well as fourth overall.

Maxxis’ riders were 1-2 in XC2 Pro Am, with Fowler’s teammate Cole Richardson taking the victory and fifth place overall and SICC Racing’s Marshall Goings in second place for XC2. Kylie Ahart, who leads the class I points, took her second victory of the year in the Women’s race. Goings’ teammate Todd Demaree took second place in the Vet A 28+ class.

Maxxis congratulates Walker Fowler, Cole Richardson and Kylie Ahart and congratulates all of its riders for their fine performances.
