Wienen, Rastrelli Triumph as Team USA Wins Quadcross of European Nations

Maxxis’ Chad Wienen and Jeff Rastrelli, along with CST’s Thomas Brown, brought home the gold for the USA at the Quadcross of European Nations (QXON), held September 22-23 in Slagelse, Denmark.

The three riders defeated teams from 19 other countries to take the victory. Team USA started strong with two victories on the first day, with Wienen winning the third race, Rastrelli taking second place in the second race, and Brown winning the opening race. The team dominated the next day’s racing as well, with two race wins for Wienen. Team USA took second place in all three of the day’s races, with two second place finishes for Rastrelli and one for Brown.

FIM-europe.com, which covered both days of QXON, had only praise for the three riders: “It was the absolute consistency and team riding that won the gold medals for Team USA, which was thoroughly deserved. It was a remarkable team effort and an example to other nations on how to compete as a team.” Team USA is now undefeated, having also won with a crew of Maxxis and CST riders in 2017, the first year the nation entered the competition.

Maxxis is proud to sponsor Chad Wienen and Jeff Rastrelli and congratulates Team USA on this victory.
