Kyle Hart Sweeps Pro Light at TORC Opener; Johnny Greaves, Hord Win Pro 4

In a weekend of multiple wins for Maxxis drivers, Kyle Hart swept TORC’s Pro Light class with victories in Rounds 1 and 2, while Johnny Greaves and Chad Hord each took a Pro 4 win.  TORC’s season began May 27-28 in Dallas, Texas.

Hart, the son of racing legend and fellow Maxxis-sponsored driver Marty Hart, led from start to finish of Friday’s Pro Light race, delivering what snox365.com called “a perfect ride.” Later in the day, he drove his father’s truck to his first-ever Pro 2 podium, taking third place, with fellow Maxxis title-sponsored driver C.J. Greaves taking second. The next day’s Pro Light race saw him in fifth place after the first lap, but he moved steadily forward, rocketing into first after a late-race restart. Hart and Greaves later switched places on the Pro 2 podium, with Hart taking second and Greaves in third.

Johnny Greaves topped the podium in Friday’s Pro 4 race, after starting in the third row. He spent much of the race competing with son C.J., until a mechanical problem led C.J. to leave the race. Johnny then held the lead through to the finish line, with fellow Maxxis driver Chad Hord taking second place.

The following day, it was Hord who took the Pro 4 victory, his first in the class. Hord gained the lead with a pass in the last lap, driving “like a man possessed,” according to Johnny Greaves, who took second place.

Maxxis congratulates Kyle Hart, Johnny Greaves and Chad Hord on their victories and thanks all of its drives for their fine performances.
