BACK AT IT! Maxxis and Mountain Bike World Champion Brian Lopes Announce Their Reunion

Maxxis, one of the world’s most trusted tire brands, has announced that they have added to their marketing and R&D arsenal through a renewed partnership with legendary mountain bike champion Brian Lopes. 

A four-time UCI World Champion, six-time UCI World Cup winner and nine-time NORBA National Champion, Lopes is no stranger to Maxxis products. Back in 2001, he secured his first UCI World Championship title, in dual, on Maxxis tires. 

The reunion is effective immediately and will kick off at the 2015 Sea Otter Classic as Lopes competes in enduro and dual slalom. “Stoked to be back riding on Maxxis tires. They make an excellent product and offer great options for the races I will be doing,” said Lopes.
