The spectacular scenery of Innsbruck, Austria, served as the backdrop for amazing performances by Maxxis’ sponsored riders, who were all over the podium at the second round of the Crankworx World Tour. Jill Kintner led a Maxxis podium sweep in pump track, and Danny Hart rode Maxxis tires to victory in Elite Men’s downhill. Crankworx Innsbruck was held June 13-17 in Austria.
Kintner was joined on the pump track podium by Kialani Hines in second place and rising star Valentina Höll in third. Hart’s downhill win was decisive; his final run in 2:47.29 was a full 1.5 seconds faster than the second place rider’s. Charlie Harrison also did well with, taking third-place in downhill. Maxxis’ riders earned two podium spots in the Elite Women’s downhill race, with Kintner in second place and Emilie Siegenthaler in third place. In Women’s Elite Whip-Off, Vaea Verbeeck took second place.
The next round of the Crankworx World Tour takes place June 20-24 in Les Gets, France. Maxxis congratulates Danny Hart and Jill Kintner and looks forward to cheering them on at Crankworx Round 3.
