The Luna Chix’ Catharine Pendrel and Multivan Merida’s Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjaa took spots in the top three at World Cup Cross Country #3, held May 25 in the Czech Republic. 

Pendrel’s achievement was especially notable in light of the broken collarbone she had suffered just two months earlier. She made steady progress through the race, going from a start in the third row to victory in the battle for second place. Dahle Flesjaa was also among the riders in contention for a podium spot, finishing in third place. 

Two of Dahle Flesjaa’s teammates also finished in the top ten in the men’s race. Jose Antonio Hermida Ramos took sixth place, while Thomas Litscher earned tenth place.
