The test consisted of wet and dry operation, braking, aquaplaning, slalom, sound level and rolling resistance, with additional point assessments for comfort and driving safety. It was a comprehensive evaluation of the current market for summer tyres.

Maxxis Premitra HP5 achieved the best result in dry operation and third best result in slalom and wet driving, it was beaten in wet driving only by the tire competitors who came in first and second place in the entire tire test.

Looking at the test points, Maxxis achieved an excellent fourth place overall, and was awarded not only the “highly recommended” label, but also the “recommendation on price value”.
