As Maxxis\u2019 sponsored riders compete in downhill and cross country World Cup races this year, fans can get a glimpse behind the scenes in \u201cRubber Side Down,\u201d a new web series.\u00a0<\/p>\n

he six-part series will cover each stop of the World Cup downhill calendar as well as World Championships.\u00a0 Created in cooperation with Joe Bowman of Steel City Media, producer of the popular \u201c his is Peaty\u201d series, \u201cRubber Side Down\u201d will follow Maxxis\u2019 athletes and mechanics through a week of practice all the way to race day.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201c his will be a different format than other recap videos in that it will focus more on bike set-up and tire choice,\u201d said Aaron Chamberlain, marketing specialist with Maxxis. \u201cWe hope it will provide some insight as to why our athletes choose particular treads for the various tracks.\u201d<\/p>\n

he first episode will premiere uesday, April 22.
