he Glencoe Grand Prix saw Maxxis riders on both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s podiums as Brad White took a victory and Kendal Ryan took a second place spot. he race was held May 31 in Glencoe, Illinois.\u00a0<\/p>\n

White\u2019s win was his second in a row at Glencoe. Although an early attack was cut short by another rider\u2019s crash, the UnitedHealthcare rider was part of a four-man lead group which continued to race after remounting their bikes. He attacked repeatedly during the final laps and won with a last-second pass on another rider. \u201c his is a great race. I\u2019m glad to be back with the crit squad, and it\u2019s nice to race close to my home in Michigan. My family was here tonight, so it was extra special to win with them here to watch,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Crashes also plagued the women\u2019s race earlier in the day, but eam ICBCO\u2019s Ryan took second place with a sprint to the finish line. eammate Samantha Schneider, who provided the lead-out for Ryan\u2019s sprint, took fourth place. Ryan followed her stellar performance at Glencoe with another turn on the podium, this time as the winner of the Cobb Park Criterium elsewhere in Illinois.\u00a0<\/p>\n
