Fearon 2nd in DH Elite Men, Bizet, Crimmins Win at Leogang<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In a major triumph for eam Kona<\/a>, Connor Fearon<\/a> took his first-ever spot on the World Cup Elite Men\u2019s podium, while Andrew Crimmins<\/a> won the Juniors\u2019 race. Antoine Bizet<\/a> of the Kona Gravity eam took first place in 26 rix, a slopestyle competition in Leogang which coincided with the World Cup. UCI World Cup DH #3<\/a> was held June 14 in Leogang, Austria.   <\/p>\n

With what RedBull.com called \u201cthe run of his life,\u201d Fearon earned second place in 3:34.399. His run, which put him in the lead for a time, was just .045 seconds less than that of the first-place rider. <\/p>\n

Crimmins won the Junior Men\u2019s race in just 3:42.706, with a margin of victory of more than three seconds. he win, his second of the year to date, pushed him to the top of overall rankings for Junior Men\u2019s downhill. <\/p>\n

Bizet conquered the 26 rix slopestyle course with a final run that included a cashroll on the first jump, a flatspin X-up to double backflip to a cork 720, and then a front flip no-hander on the last jump, according to Kona. he victory was especially sweet in light of Bizet\u2019s past two seasons, which have seen him plagued by injuries. For his winning run, Bizet trusted Maxxis Ikon and D H tires. <\/p>\n
