<\/p>\nMaxxis-sponsored riders took the majority of men\u2019s top ten spots at the latest round of the Enduro World Series, and took three spots in the women\u2019s top ten. he fifth round of the 2018 Enduro World Series (EWS) was held July 21-22 in La huile, Italy.<\/p>\n

Various difficulties, including uncertain weather, led to a truncated stage schedule on both days, but at the end of the round, Pivot Factory Racing\u2019s Eddie Masters held third place, with Rocky Mountain\/Race Face Enduro eam\u2019s Jesse Melamed in fourth. Unior Devinci Factory Racing\u2019s Damien Oton was fifth; Orbea Enduro eam\u2019s homas Lapeyrie was sixth; France\u2019s Youn Deniaud was seventh; and Canyon Factory Enduro eam\u2019s Florian Nicolai earned ninth place.<\/p>\n

Oton is currently second in points for the series, and Canyon Factory Enduro eam\u2019s Dimitri ordo and Nicolai are fourth and fifth.<\/p>\n

Nicolai and ordo\u2019s teammate Ines homa took third place overall for the round in the women\u2019s race, with Rocky Mountain\/Race Face Enduro eam\u2019s Andr\u00e9ane Lanthier Nadeau in sixth place, and Orbea Enduro eam\u2019s Becky Cook in eighth place. With three rounds left in the season, homa is fourth in points.<\/p>\n
