Whether you’re an avid motocrosser or you’re just starting out, it’s always good to know your options about which MX tracks are available in your local area. That’s why we have compiled a list of some of the best tracks in South West England.
Based 20 minutes from the Southampton seaside, Matterley Basin is an impressive, spectator-friendly motocross track often used by international motocross events such as the MXGP for their UK races. Steep, fast, 1.2 miles long and featuring hardpack to mid-soft terrain, this track can be challenging.
Dirt MX (DMX)
Situated on the outskirts of Bristol, Dirt MX is a natural terrain practise track, comprising of a main track and a junior track.
DMX Practice Track
Comprising of three tracks, one main adult track and two children’s tracks, Cheddar Motopark offers something for all abilities. The main track consists of tabletops, banked supercross style berms, long sweeping corners and a rhythm section, whilst the kids/autos track has been extended, allowing the little ones to get used to their bikes.
Located in Hungerford, a short drive from the A36, Farleigh Castle is around 1 mile long, with climbs, descents and natural drop-offs.
