Another perfect round for Maxxis & Max Anstie at Canada Heights

With no experience of the Canada Heights circuit, Max Anstie of Maxxis sponsored Dixon Racing Team Kawasaki headed to the circuit for Round 3 of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship.

Max liked the look of the track and immediately got off to a flying start with a 1.7 gap in qualifying. Having started the day off well, Max continued this display of skill with three effortless race wins, putting on a great display for the crowds.

It was a textbook day of racing with Max and the Bike performing as one. With another overall in the bag, Max now sits in second place in the championship, just 16 points behind Steven Lenoir, having missed the first round after an injury.

Max now looks to compete in the MXGP Round 6 in Spain this weekend as he explains: ‘‘Solid day yesterday, nice to keep the ball rolling and feeling strong coming into Spain. Team and bike worked well and we were able to do work and get the job done.”

Meanwhile, team mate Jay Hague, racing in the MXY2, also got pole position in qualifying. The young Maxxis rider then went on to a great performance achieving 4th, 1st, and 2nd, getting the overall win on the day as well as securing the championship lead.

Team Manager, Steve Dixon said of the performance: ‘’ “Despite heavy rain the circuit was in great condition, and there’s always a great job done by the Sidcup MX Club. We couldn’t have asked for any more from Max and the Team. Both worked flawlessly and it was a pleasure to watch Max ride. I feel Max is growing in confidence and looks in tune with the bike. It’s great to see Jay riding awesome and securing the overall championship lead. I can see once Jay leaves school he’ll make some big leaps in the adult ranks.”
