Chris Walker Race School chooses Maxxis Supermaxx Sport

Chris Walker's Race School, based at the legendary Mallory Park circuit, Leicestershire, has chosen Maxxis Supermaxx Sport tyres to be fitted to their Kawasaki ZX6R's for the second year running.

Maxxis’ super sticky Sport tyre is ideally suited to the demanding conditions of Mallory Park; they warm up fast and offer riders predictable consistent grip in wet or dry conditions, with the added benefit of improved wear rates over similar competitor products.

Below are some comments from:

Chris Walker says “I rate Maxxis tyres, the School and myself are directly involved in the development of Maxxis; running the Supermaxx Sport tyre on track gives you a fantastic track day tyre at a fraction of the price of the competition. What’s more, my instructors rate them, and those boys don’t hang about!”

Former BSB Champion Gary Mason’s feedback on the Supermaxx Sports: “As a racer, I look for a lot of feedback from my tyres and that’s what the Maxxis tyres deliver, they are forgiving with plenty of feel, truly confidence-inspiring.”

Dave Johnson who will be competing in the TT this year says:  “The Supermaxx Sport had plenty still to go when fully committed, no dramas, the front had a good feel and you could push it, and I was confident in the rear grip, it didn’t step out once.”

Maxxis’ range-topping Supermaxx Sport tyre, has benefited from some very positive consumer press reviews in the mainstream UK motorcycle media. Maxxis has utilised the latest advanced modular construction techniques to further improve on the tyre, which has taken the UK motorcycle industry by surprise.

The Maxxis Supermaxx Sport now benefits from multi-sectional construction that ensures longer tyre life when used in short high-temperature bursts at track days; although predominantly developed as a high-speed aggressive road tyre for Supersport machines, Maxxis have seen more and more customers taking to the track to realise the full potential of their machines.

The second-generation Supermaxx Sport also features an advanced tread pattern and distinct angular profile to allow quick, precise and responsive handling. The ultra sticky Silica compound has been specifically formulated for optimum traction in Europe’s varied wet and dry conditions, the compound formula also allows for cooler initial running temperatures and maximum grip for both road and track use.

The Chris Walker Race School will offer a totally unique and bespoke experience for all levels of motorcyclists, from the total novice to experienced road/track riders.
