In the summer,Maxxis headed to The Game Fair in Hatfield to showcase its newest 4×4, ATV and turf tyre innovations and officially unveil the brand-new RAZR MT 4×4 tyre, along with the latest tread pattern design for the Protech M9227 turf tyre. A ‘must attend event’ in every countryside pursuits enthusiast’s diary, The Game Fair provided the perfect opportunity for Maxxis to engage with the market and identify its emerging needs.
The RAZR MT772, which has already been introduced into America’s 4×4 market, has been designed with off-road drivers in mind; to provide them with tyres that can guarantee a comfortable and safe ride, on off-road terrains – while also reducing the likelihood of punctures, and poor handling. Its innovative sidewall design maximises sidewall traction and puncture resistance; while its new tread compound – featuring new chemical fillers – helps to maximise tear resistance and tread life. Promising to offer superior durability and toughness, the tyre also benefits from Maxxis’ dual-cord casing ply, featuring intertwined reinforced fibres, to dramatically improve casing strength.
Similarly, the Protech M9227 tyre promises to be turf-friendly. Benefitting from a greater tread depth, the tyre can offer a far longer lifespan. Its modified shoulder design offers outstanding traction, without damaging turf; while its unique tread pattern also allows for better lateral traction and reduced hill slippage. Promising increased puncture resistance, the tyre is available in a 4-ply rating.
