Maxxis Pont-de-Vaux Mondial du Quad 2013

With three days of exceptional competition, including two fiercely competitive two and four wheel races taking place on the 40 acre site during two consecutive weekends, there is plenty for extreme motorsport fans to do.

The event kicks off with the 4th edition of the Endurance Moto, with a mixture of Motocross and Enduro Cross enthusiasts competing in 8 hours of intense racing. The second weekend will see the return of the 27th edition of the Mondial du Quad, welcoming more than 20 countries and the best international riders from around the world, including the events titleholder, Florian Ramel.

The Mondial du Quad is a perfect showcase of Maxxis’ ATV offering, with the brand being renowned for producing some of the toughest recreational and competitive ATV tyres on the market. Tyres such as the Trepador, Mudzilla and Creepy Crawler set a high standard when it comes to outperforming and outlasting competitors, with superb puncture resistance characteristics and tread patterns designed for maximum traction and performance meaning that riders choosing Maxxis don’t get left in the dust.

The Maxxis Ceros MU07 is many drivers choice of tyre for this year’s Mondial du Quad. Built to handle the extreme abuse out by the course, the MU07 has a directional, smooth rolling tread pattern that helps to provide precise steering and straight-line stability at high speeds. It also creates predictable braking and excellent traction and stability on hardpack to intermediate conditions. Its radial construction means that shock is absorbed better, giving riders a smoother ride.

Maxxis is constantly working on advancing the technology that goes into its tyres to ensure that they can perform to the highest standards technically possible, giving riders at this year’s Mondial du Quad the outstanding quality and performance that they expect from Maxxis, as Derek McMartin confirms: “The team at Maxxis is continuously looking at ways in which to improve the quality and performance of our tyres. Using advanced technology, that is only available in Maxxis tyres, we have been able to create a concept we call ‘Orange Engineering’. It is important for us as one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers to be seen as an important player in the world of motorsport, and therefore, having the opportunity to sponsor some of the biggest motorsport events around the world, including the Mondial du Quad, ensures that we continue to further develop and enhance the capabilities of our on and off-road tyres.”
