CJ, Johnny Greaves 1-2 in Pro 4 at ORC Crandon; Maxxis Sweeps Pro Lite Crandon Cup Podium<\/h2>\n

Maxxis was all over the podium at what\u2019s often called the Super Bowl of off-road short-course racing. he company fielded a total of 11 drivers for ORC\u2019s Labor Day weekend races in Crandon, which also included the Crandon Cup. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Saturday\u2019s Pro 4 race, Johnny Greaves took the holeshot and held the lead until the final lap, as other drivers including Maxxis\u2019 Chad Hord fought for second place. CJ Greaves, behind those drivers for much of the race, took advantage of an opening and made a last-minute pass to take the win. \u201cI guess I had that one coming,\u201d Johnny told ORC after the race, speaking of his second-place finish. \u201cHe ran me down and passed me\u2026and that\u2019s the way I raised him.\u201d Hord also ultimately did well, taking fifth place.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

he Pro 4 win wasn\u2019t CJ Greaves\u2019 only victory during the weekend: he also took first place in Pro Stock U V. After battling his way to the front early in the race, CJ held the lead through to the finish line.<\/p>\n

In Saturday\u2019s Pro Light race, both Kyle and Cody Kleiman ran Maxxis Bighorn tires, and both wound up on the podium, with Kyle taking his seventh win of the year and Cody earning third place for the day. Also on the podium during the weekend was Eric Ruppel, who deployed his characteristic \u201cmad man\u201d style driving to take third place in Saturday\u2019s Pro 2 race.<\/p>\n

he following day at the Crandon Cup races, which featured drivers from both ORC and LOORRS, Maxxis triumphed with a sweep of the Pro Lite podium. Ryan Beat took first place, with Mickey homas and Cody Kleiman finishing second and third.<\/p>\n

Maxxis congratulates CJ Greaves, Kyle Kleiman and Ryan Beat, and looks forward to cheering on all of its drivers in ORC\u2019s final rounds of the season, scheduled for September 22-24 in Elk River, Minnesota.<\/p>\n
