(November 18, 2014) &#8211; A new year is right around the corner, and to celebrate, Epic Rides today announced a new event date for the Grand Junction Off-Road presented by U.S. Bank mountain bike event and new high-profile sponsors for 2015 that will reward event registrants and participants with some of the best gear the bike industry has to offer, with a total retail value of over $75,000.<\/p>\n<p> aking advantage of the glorious late spring riding weather in Western Colorado, Epic Rides is working closely with the City of Grand Junction and the Bureau of Land Management to move the 2015 Grand Junction Off-Road to May 29-31.  he Grand new date will now be a month after the Whiskey Off-Road in Prescott, Ariz., enabling participants to gear up more easily for both events while enjoying a more temperate time of year for mountain biking on Colorado\u2019s Western Slope.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost people don\u2019t realize that the weather is different on the Western Slope of Colorado,\u201d said Barbara Bowman of the Grand Junction Visitor &amp; Convention Bureau. \u201c hanks to our high desert and canyon lands country with wildflowers and cactus in bloom, riding in Grand Junction is spectacular in May. We can&#8217;t wait for everyone to come and discover springtime on the other side of Colorado.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to bringing the two events closer together, Epic Rides also announced the $60,000 Pro Cash Purse will be evenly split with $30,000 at each of the Off-Road<br \/>Series events.
