Brosnan, Hart, Vergier on Podium as Maxxis Takes 6 Top 10 Spots at Mont-Sainte-Anne DH World Cup

Maxxis’ sponsored riders again dominated the top ten at the latest round of the DH World Cup, taking six spots at Mont-Sainte-Anne. Troy Brosnan took second place, Danny Hart earned third place, and Loris Vergier was fifth on the podium at the event, held August 10-12 in Beaupré, Quebec, Canada.

Despite a course made even trickier than usual by rain during the qualifier, Canyon Factory Downhill Team’s Brosnan turned in what redbull.com called “a thrilling run,” finishing just .321 behind first-place Loic Bruni in 4:13.034.  Madison Saracen Factory Team’s Hart made his final run in 4:14.036, and Santa Cruz Syndicate’s Vergier took his podium spot with a 4:16.181 finish.

Vergier’s Santa Cruz teammate Luca Shaw also rode Maxxis to a top-ten spot, taking sixth place with a 4:17.441 run. Intense Factory Racing’s Charlie Harrison earned his best ever World Cup finish in seventh place, while teammate Dean Lucas rounded out the top ten for Maxxis.

The final round of the DH World Cup is set for August 25-26 in La Bresse, France. Maxxis thanks all of these riders for their fine performances and looks forward to cheering them on to the podium at DH World Cup #7.
