Not content with gunning for the championship in one racing discipline, Kyle Chaney used the rest of his weekend at Bark River to take a podium in his first-ever Pro 4 truck race.
With one event left in the season, the Can-Am/XPS Lubricants/Chaney Racing driver came close to locking down the Lucas Oil Midwest Short Course Pro Modified SxS title, winning the first race. He then took on truck racing, earning third place in the first Pro 4 competition of his career. Bark River Up Road Rumble in the U.P was held August 9-11 in Bark River, Michigan.
“It was my first Pro 4 race, and I had spent just 20 minutes in the truck testing,” said Chaney. “Went out there, started last, and by the end of the race, we got third. This is a brand-new car, but it sat for two years, so we still have a few bugs to work out of it.”
