Masters Wins at Enduro World Series Les Orres
In a thrilling finish, Pivot Factory Racing’s Eddie Masters took the Pro Men’s victory at EWS Les Orres Coupe de Monde, with Yeti/Fox Shox’ Richie Rude less than a second behind. Raphaela Richter and Kona Factory Team’s Miranda Miller made the Pro Women’s podium in second and third place respectively. The race was held July 6-7 in Les Orres, France.

Masters, Rude and another rider traded the lead right through the eighth and final stage. Masters’ win was his first in the series. Riders sponsored by Maxxis took three additional spots in the men’s top ten: Canyon Factory Racing’s Florian Nicolai and Dimitri Tordo were fourth and fifth, and Masters’ teammate Matthew Walker was seventh.

Miller, who started the day in fifth place in the race for the podium, moved into third as the day’s racing progressed, holding her spot despite intense competition in Stage 8. Canyon Factory’s Ines Thoma took fourth place in the Pro Women’s race.
