Enduro World Champs: A First for the Sport

After years as an established sport, enduro finally provided riders with the chance to earn those legendary rainbow stripes. Val di Fassa was the first host of the Enduro World Champs, and while it’s a beautiful location with plenty of amazing trails, one thing no one thought to factor in was the weather – particularly, the snow.

The E-Enduro World Champs got the ball rolling in Val di Fassa with Maxxis athlete Flo Espiñeira (Orbea Enduro Team) taking second place in the Women’s.

After that, the Elite Enduro racers took to the tracks to compete (and survive) in the hectic conditions brought by the snow. Ella Conolly (Cannondale Bikes) wrapped up a solid season with fifth place in the Women’s, while Richie Rude (Yeti Fox Factory) slotted into third in the Men’s.

Having a rainbow jersey is a huge step in the right direction for the sport of enduro, and we can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store.
