Track-Proven Performance Meets Nissan's Championship Road Racing Program
In the latest step in its collaboration with the Nissan Acceleration Team (NAT), Maxxis will have its Victra RC-1 tires displayed as equipment on Nissan’s Project NAT2 SCCA Touring 2³ car at SEMA next week. NAT is an all-volunteer motorsports team made up of Nissan employees, and Maxxis’ work with them goes back to 2020.

A popular track competition tire and the choice of many club racers and enthusiasts, the Victra RC-1 boasts excellent grip, handling and heat cycle performance. Nissan’s Project NAT2 will be outfitted with 100TW Maxxis Victra RC-1s in 275/35ZR18.
Project NAT2 is a Nissan Z which NAT has outfitted with upgraded engine, suspension and braking systems, designed to compete in the SCCA T2 (Touring 2) road-racing class in Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) events. The class is designed for production-based sports cars and sedans and balances performance through rules on vehicle eligibility, modifications, weight and tires to keep competition close among different makes and models. T2 cars retain much of their production-car character but are prepared for serious wheel-to-wheel racing, with upgrades focused on safety, handling, braking, and reliability.
