Rubber Side Down | Season 4

Rubber Side Down | Season 4

In the final episode of this season’s Rubber Side Down, we bring you the man behind the camera – and the majority of our mountain bike photos – Boris Beyer. He’s the one that keeps our IG feeds jam-packed with all the berm-blasting, cliff hucking, speed-tucking, and champagne showering that makes our sport great.

Our cameras followed Boris during Crankworx Whistler in August of 2019. Whistler is the final stop of the Crankworx World Tour and is also the biggest mountain bike festival in the world.

Episode two of Rubber Side Down Season 4 follows Canadian Vaea Verbeeck as she battles to retain her lead in the Queen of Crankworx competition. Watch as Vaea competes in pump track, dual slalom, and downhill in Innsbruck, Austria.

In the first episode of the fourth season, our cameras captured slopestyle athlete Emil Johansson as he prepared for the first competition of the year – the Maxxis Slopestyle in Memory of McGazza. Emil spent most of the 2018 season off his bike due to health issues involving both his back and immune system. In August of last year, Emil shocked the mountain biking world with a fourth place finish at Red Bull Joyride after ten months away.
