The Metropass AT (all-terrain) is a lightweight, easy rolling, all-around tire designed for modern E-SUV bikes. It delivers full control and comfort on asphalt, gravel, dirt roads, and off road.
The Metropass AT utilizes a 60 TPI casing made from 100% recycled nylon via SEAWASTEX® which reduces the CO2 footprint by 49% compared to new nylon.
For all-weather performance, the tire is equipped with Maxxis’ 4Season rubber compound, and our EXO sidewall protection and 3mm thick MaxxProtect insert enhance durability.

EXO is a cut- and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of many Maxxis mountain bike and gravel tires. This densely woven fabric is lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected. MaxxProtect is a 3mm thick piece of rubber that is placed under the tread area to improve puncture resistance.
E-Bike Ratings
Tires with an E25 rating are suitable for light duty e-bikes with assistance up to a maximum of 25 km/h.
For heavier, more powerful, and faster e-bikes, Maxxis offers E50 rated tires. E50 tires conform to European Union ECE-R75 specifications and are approved for use up to 50 km/h.
