Wienen Wins 2nd Straight Round of ATV MX

Defending champion Chad Wienen racked up a second victory in defense of his ATV MX title, going 2-1 to take the overall at Round 2. The event was held April 5 in Blountville, Tennessee.

He started strong by qualifying first for what would turn out to be two highly competitive motos. Wienen battled another rider throughout the first race, taking second place. In an equally exciting second race, he grabbed the lead after several laps and held it through the finish line, despite tough challenges from other riders. Fellow Maxxis rider Josh Upperman also had a good weekend, taking the holeshot in the second moto and going 4-2 for third place overall.

Wienen continues to lead the series in points with 94 to date. Upperman is fourth in the standings with 69 points.

Maxxis congratulates Chad Wienen on his second straight victory and thanks Josh Upperman and all of its other riders for their fine performances.
