The annual ADAC test results have been released after a 12-month tyre test, which "strongly recommends" both Maxxis Victra Sport 5 and Premitra HP5 which took second and third place in their respective tests.

The tyre test was carried out by ADAC, a German car club and other global car clubs and consumer protection organisations. The test lasted 12 months and included wet and dry control, braking, comfort and noise level, with calculation of fuel consumption and wear based on over 1000 miles of use.

Maxxis Victra Sport 5 was tested in the category 225/40/ R18 92Y and again became one of only four tyres ranked as “highly recommended”. The VS5 got good results across the board and excelled in durability and comfort/sound level, giving the Maxxis tyre a shared second place in this final test.
