Adventure Rider Training
Adventureridertraining.org.uk is, as the name suggests, an adventure riding training center that offers valuable advice to its students. They tried MaxxCross IT and were very happy:
“Once I have cut in, it is an understatement to say that these tires were excellent for my ride level and type of bike. The trust I had in them was surprising. Completely predictable, even when slipping, they gave a timely warning. I thought the distance on the knobs was a little too close to each other for my liking, but considering that this is an intermediate tire that has to do mileage as well, I did not care so much, and when I was out on the track, everything was forgiven. Since I was an off-road biased tire, I was curious about how they would perform on the road, but I forgot that I even drove them. Like most tires of this type, they were a bit noisy on the road, but considering that I ride a porpoise and wear earplugs, it was not something I really noticed. No strange vibes or steering problems. I almost thought I was on my regular road tire, the sloping angle and grip level were outstanding. Again self-confidence and predictability through and through.
500 km later after aggressive terrain and long double roads, wear is not even noticeable. I have had some tires that would start to look like they have been seen hundreds of miles at this stage. To say that I am satisfied is an understatement. I’ve been through a lot of tires before, so I’ll mount them one day and remove them the next. Everything from delivery speed and customer service and how they performed on and off the track was nothing short of brilliant.
