Maxxis Dominates Loorrs’ Summer Races

August capped an outstanding summer of LOORRS for Maxxis, as both drivers and tires continued to dominate every Lucas Off Road Racing class.

With just two racing weekends left, Maxxis’ title-sponsored driver Jeremy McGrath holds the points lead in Pro 2. McGrath’s place in the standings should come as no surprise; he’s been a consistent presence on the podium throughout the season, with three victories and three additional podiums. McGrath won the most recent race, Round 10. His fellow Maxxis driver Bradley Morris took second place at Round 10 and holds sixth place overall for the class. Morris has also racked up a win and an additional podium spot so far this season.

With four victories and four additional podium spots, Jeremy McGrath Racing Team driver Brock Heger is currently second overall in Pro Lite after a second-place finish at Round 10. Maxxis driver Ryan Beat, who took fourth place for the day at Round 10, also holds fourth place for the class.

After taking second place for the day in Pro 4 at Round 10, Maxxis’ Doug Mittag holds fifth place overall. Maxxis’ drivers Mickey Thomas, who races Pro Lite, and Rodrigo Ampudia, who races Pro 2, have shown consistent promise this season.

Maxxis is proud to sponsor all of these drivers and thanks them for choosing the brand of champions. The company looks forward to cheering them on to victory as they race in the final two races of LOORRS’ 2017 season.
